I am a counselling skills tutor in a further education setting, and I have several years' experience teaching specialist online counselling skills at an ACTO-approved training provider.  I spent two years in the position of ACTO Membership Officer.  I offer therapy to assist with depression, anxiety, stress, work-life balance, bereavement, relationship issues + ex-pat difficulties.

I provide a discreet and professional private counselling service delivered via video chat, instant messaging (text) chat and email therapy to clients both in the U.K. and around the world. A free, no obligation initial consultation can be booked on my website, in order for you to experience working with me as an online therapist, here: .

During the initial consultation you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have, and to discuss what you are hoping to get out of any therapy you might wish to engage in.  You can of course contact me via my website contact form, or the form on this directory listing, with queries or questions.  Reviews from past clients can be seen here: .

Description of my therapy services: I provide therapy in the person-centred style, and as such will not offer you advice or tell you 'what to do'. Through a supportive therapeutic relationship we can look together at the challenges that you face, and how you might like to go about approaching them. I can also assist you to live more acceptingly with difficult issues that for the moment cannot be changed. Through providing empathy and respect, together we can locate your own inner resources which will allow you to tackle what has brought you to therapy.Online counselling allows you to have a therapy session at a time and in a place to suit you, and is invaluable as it can be fitted in with your other commitments. The systems I operate at Ashwood Therapy mean that you can use a desktop, laptop, tablet computer or even your mobile phone to engage in counselling. Full instructions as to how to get set up are provided and my easy to use online booking system allows you to schedule an appointment whenever it is convenient. Ashwood Therapy | Online Counselling only provides counselling to clients aged 18 years and older.
Experience of working online:

I am passionate about both technology and the counselling process. Online working brings together both of these elements allowing me to offer a comprehensive and effective online service. Many of my past clients return to Ashwood Therapy when faced with a new challenge, and the majority of my referrals come from people who have had my services recommended by former clients.
