Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic
I have a particular interest in anxiety. In particular, how feeling separate (isolated, alone) or connected (in relationship) can have an impact on levels of anxiety.
I also have an interest in how relationship and connectedness can be maintained at a distance. Online relationships can often be seen as 'second best' but in our increasingly technological society they are becoming distinct and significant kinds of relationships, and ones which also contribute to anxiety levels.
A third area of interest is in the psychological aspects of pain. I work with people who suffer from migraine and other chronic pain conditions, while understanding that pain can often emerge or worsen following periods of emotional distress.
