Sometimes life’s challenges can be confusing and unsettling, and you may be struggling to deal with what life throws at you. We are now confronting compounding anxieties and uncertainties with the Covid-19 pandemic and your priorities and way of life have changed. This can be affecting you in different and often conflicting and confusing ways.
Counselling can provide a private space for you to focus on what is happening for you right now. I offer you my warmth, empathy and compassion, without judgment, and work collaboratively with you to navigate through even the most difficult times in your life.
I welcome the opportunity to work alongside you as we explore what life is like for you; exploring ways to cope with your challenges, and understanding and developing your way of being. As a humanistic and integrative therapist, I have a flexible and holistic approach, tailoring your therapy to your personal circumstances and needs as a unique individual.
I am currently working exclusively online and by telephone due to the pandemic. I am experienced in both face-to-face and online therapy, and understand that this can seem a daunting process.
You are welcome to contact me by phone, text or secure email with any questions or concerns you have.
I offer a free 20 minute phone call so that we can discuss how I can best support you.
I am an experienced face-to-face and online therapist working in private practice from Rickmansworth and also as a volunteer counsellor at Mind. I also previously worked in private practice in Bishops Stortford.
I am an integrative psychotherapist, with an existential and humanistic emphasis. Being integrative means that I am not tied to a specific theory or modality. I work from a variety of approaches according to your personal circumstances.
I work with adults of all ages.
My special interests include anxiety, bereavement, depression, chronic pain, relationships, stress, low self esteem and finding meaning and purpose in your life.
