ACTO agrees partnership with Private Practice Hub and ORCHA and the launch of our new benefit to ACTO members – the ORCHA apps web page
We have just agreed a three way project which will benefit ACTO members by giving them access to a range of thoroughly assessed mental health and health apps for use with their clients. These apps are assessed by Orcha across three broad strands: data security, clinical effectiveness and user experience. You will be able to use these apps as part of or as a support to the therapy process. Mental health apps are the fastest growing area of healthcare apps. The Orcha evidence shows that 61% of clients are more likely to use an app if it recommended by a therapist, so it’s important for us to be aware of the best apps.
The webinar will last one hour and Liz Ashall-Payne and Simon Leigh will present about how to use apps effectively in mental health care. For those who can’t make it, it will be recorded on will be available on our website shortly afterwards.
The three partners involved are Orcha https://www.orcha.co.uk/, Private Practice Hub https://privatepracticehub.co.uk/, including The Online Therapy Hub https://privatepracticehub.co.uk/onlinetherapyhub/. PPH and Orcha are organisational members of ACTO.
